iTunes pricing stays at $0.99

Apple revealed that they have reached an agreement with the music industry to maintain the $0.99 price for songs. The industry wanted to have a variable price point meaning more money for better known bands and less money for lesser known bands. After months of bargaining and Steve Jobs calling the music industry "greedy" the two groups finally came to agreements before the current lease expired.
