New Voice Chat & Download Features for DS

Nintendo has just announced two new features for the Nintendo DS. Nintendo of America's senior VP, Reggie Fils-Aime, said that the DS will receive downloadable game demos and voice-chat capabilities.

These changes will occur next month and according to reports, DS owners will go to certain kiosks at retail stores so they can download those game demos. The first demos will be Brain Age, Pokemon Troizi, Mario Kart DS, Meteos and True Swing Golf.

Also, the big news here is that there will be voice-enabled chat between gamers. For example, in the upcoming Metroid Prime Hunters you will be able to talk to others through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. The only bad thing though is that you cannot talk during the games themselves. Only before and after (Yea that makes a lot of sense).

Rumors: Video iPod, NO Click Wheel

Think Secret has confirmed recent industry rumblings that Apple is nearing completion of a completely revamped video iPod that will shed the ubiquitous mechanical click wheel for a touch screen and will sport a 3.5-inch diagonal display. Instead there will be a touch screen type click wheel most likely.

Think Secret does not state any prices or capacity. No details yet on when it will come out, but Think Secret indicates the Spring, or possibly as early as late March or early April.

Stay tuned to the TechWrap for more details on this possible new real Video iPod.

Feast your eyes on the great pic from engadget.

New 1GB iPod Nano!

This was inevitable and could be seen miles down the road and finally Apple has come out with a 1GB iPod Nano. Prices on the iPod Shuffles have gone down because of this with the 1GB version selling for $99 and the 512MB version selling for $69

The dimensions and everything are the same and the only thing different is, of course, the size.

New Gmail Chat feature announced

As you can see from the picture it is integration of Google Talk into your Gmail account except without the "talking" feature. You can still type and IM, but just not actually make any calls. You'll have to download Google Talk to do that.

Should be available in a few weeks and I must say it looks pretty cool.

Definitely, follow the link which is the title and also zoom in to view this picture from Google.

Dropped prices for 20' iMac G5s

The old 20' Apple iMac G5s have a new price tag. Previously, the price was $1699 but now it is $1499. I suggest you save the extra $200 and go for the new 20' Intel iMacs. It really isn't worth it but it just shows that Apple is trying to get rid of their older products and they will be for sale for as long "as supplies last."
